"O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: Make known his deeds among
the people." Psalms 105:1
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each of you for
your love, support and understanding. I watched as our Pastor struggled with his calling. Praying forceful prayers as a Deacon
when he was also called to preach the word. Teaching the word of God on Wednesday evenings and during vacation bible school
when he was also called to preach the word. Singing praise to our Lord when he was also called to praise the Lord through
speech. Providing counseling to the men of this church through the men`s ministry when he was actually called to Pastor and
counsel us all. I watched, as you did, as he finally accepted the will of our Father to Pastor those in his own home church.
It is my hope that you will join us as we follow the words of
Proverbs 3:5-6 to "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways
acknowledge Him, and (truly believe that) He shall direct thy path."
I pray that we here at Jerusalem may cotinue to grow in the word of God and that God's grace
and mercy will sustain us as we walk together in faith.
